Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Brian J. Gallager, a taxi driver from Lopatcong, who is facing charges of child endangerment and child porn following the investigation which was led by Chief Robert Anzilotti.
On Feb. 15, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant Gallagher's home during the course of an Internet child pornography investigation, Calo said.
The investigation revealed that Gallagher utilized the Internet to view, possess and attempt to distribute digital files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent children, the acting prosecutor said.
Gallagher was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child and attempting distribution of child pornography, Calo said.
He is scheduled for a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court on on March 7 at 8:30 a.m.
